Support that fits your child and your family

Whether you're navigating big feelings, tricky transitions, or new skills, we'll start by understanding your child and build a plan that works in your real life.

Four ways we can work together

Most families start with a conversation and a consultation. From there, we choose the support that makes sense for your child.

Parent coaching & caregiver consultation

Individualized coaching to help you understand behavior, find practical strategies, and confidently support your child's skills across daily routines and environments.

  • Understanding the function of behavior
  • Preventative strategies
  • Communication and replacement skills
  • Routines and transitions
  • Reinforcement strategies
  • Skill-building strategies
  • Generalization across settings
  • Troubleshooting challenging situations
  • Collaboration with your child's team

Behavioral consultation

BCBA consultation focused on understanding behavioral concerns and developing practical, individualized recommendations.

  • Review of behavioral concerns
  • Observation
  • Data review
  • Environmental assessment
  • Behavioral recommendations
  • Skill-building recommendations
  • Developing or modifying support strategies
  • Follow-up consultation

Comprehensive behavioral assessment / FBA

Assessment is individualized to your child's needs and may include:

  • Record review
  • Interviews
  • Direct observation
  • ABC and data review
  • Functional assessment procedures when appropriate
  • Identifying patterns and contributing factors
  • Recommendations
  • Written summary or report

The cost of an assessment depends on the complexity of the case and how much assessment is needed. You'll receive a written estimate before any comprehensive assessment begins.

Skill-building services

Individualized, hands-on sessions focused on developing new skills and increasing independence, tailored to your child's developmental level, strengths, interests, and goals.

Families often reach out when…

  • Daily routines like mornings, meals, or bedtime feel like a battle
  • Your child is struggling to communicate what they need
  • Transitions or changes lead to big reactions
  • School has raised concerns and you want a plan you understand
  • You want your child's providers to work toward the same goals

I have the most experience working with children ages 2–12, and I’m happy to work with individuals of any age when their needs can be supported through ABA strategies.

I serve Muncie and the surrounding communities, including Yorktown, Gaston, Daleville, Selma, Eaton, and Albany. I love working with families in person, at home, in the community, or wherever support is needed, and I also offer virtual parent coaching for families outside the Muncie area.

Your first conversation

What to expect when you reach out

1

A free 15-minute call

You share what's going on. Delainie listens, asks a few questions, explains how she might help, and walks through pricing.

2

A plan to start

Together you choose a starting point, whether that's coaching, consultation, or an assessment, and you receive a cost estimate before services begin.

3

Support that adjusts

Strategies are practiced, reviewed, and adjusted as your child grows, at home, at school, and in between.

Questions families ask

Before we get started

Where do sessions take place?

Wherever support is needed most. As an independent, private-pay BCBA, I’m not limited to one setting, so services can be tailored to your family’s everyday challenges. If medical appointments are difficult, we can work on those skills in a medical setting. If the grocery store is overwhelming, we can practice there. Sessions can also happen at home, in the community, at the park, or at school and daycare with permission.

In-person support is often the most helpful, and I also offer virtual parent coaching for families in more remote areas or parents who need more flexibility with scheduling. My goal is to meet families where they are, both literally and figuratively.

Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?

No. A formal diagnosis isn’t required to work with me. I’ve spent several years specializing in supporting children on the autism spectrum, and ABA strategies can also help with a variety of skill deficits, behavioral concerns, and individual needs. I focus on each person’s unique needs rather than a diagnosis alone.

I do ask families to share any existing diagnoses, and I’ll request copies of relevant diagnostic reports before services begin. This helps me understand your child and plan the best support.

How is payment handled?

Services are currently private pay. After each session, you’ll receive a superbill you can submit to your insurance company. Depending on your plan, insurance may reimburse part or all of the cost.

Rates vary by the type of service, and we’ll talk through pricing and reimbursement options during your free 15-minute consultation call. You’ll also receive a cost estimate before services begin, so you can decide what works best for your family.

Will you work with my child's school or therapists?

Yes. Collaboration with teachers, SLPs, OTs, and other providers is a core part of how Thrive works, with your permission.

Let's talk about your child.
